Below you will find Frequently Asked Questions and their (sometimes cheeky) answers.

WHY DON’T YOU LIST THE FINAL PRICES ON YOUR WEBSITE?

Everyone’s needs are unique, and your session quotation should be as well. Prices online are meant to give a general starting point.

Upon quoting you I take into consideration, time spent on the day, location, date, and individual needs.

DO YOU OFFER OTHER STYLES OF PHOTOGRAPHY NOT LISTED?

Absolutely! I love working with clients in customizing a shoot to their vision, including an artistic shoot, product photography, or boudoir, to name a few. If you also want to add something additional on to another package, let me know.

For example some betrothed will sneak in a boudoir session with the engagement booking, to surprise their soon-to-be spouse.

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL YOU DELIVER?

The amount of photos varies depending on the session and amount of hours. Usually for 3 hour sessions I deliver around 60-150 photos.

HOW LONG UNTIL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?

Depending on the number of images, and the time of year, usually between 4-6 weeks for the final, fully-edited images. I take pride in carefully selecting and editing each and every photo to make you look your best.

In the interim, you will get to view/proof the photos you want to include in your final edit package, typically within a week barring any pre-scheduled travel or scheduling conflicts.

WHY DOES PHOTOGRAPHY COST SO MUCH? I HAVE AN IPHONE!

That you do! When you hire a creative professional, you’re not just paying for the time you spend with them. You are benefiting from years of training and skill-development.

With photography, you are also paying for their unique eye for composition, and the hours spent editing your images to be ‘just right’. Which is why it’s very important that your chosen photographer exhibits a style that speaks to you.

CAN’T I JUST GET THE DIGITALS?

While there are some packages that include digitals, it is typically limited to a pre-established number of images. This is a commonly asked question in the photography industry, as clients are looking for a way to save money as well as share their photos on social media asap.

Editing photos takes time. A lot of time. And sending the unedited photos out into the ‘webosphere’ is like a graphic designer sending you a half-finished logo. It doesn’t present the artist’s best work, which is what you’re paying for, and why you chose that artist in the first place.

Additionally, getting cheap prints at your local Costco, Walmart, CVS, etc might seem like a way to save money, you will notice almost immediately that the quality pales in comparison to a professional set of prints or enlargements that you purchase through your photographer.

That’s because we have spent the time to research, test, and select the absolute best printing companies that we know will deliver you with quality, long-lasting images to make sure your memories don’t fade.
